How it works

To subscribe and pay for STARZ Play directly through your mobile bill or from your credit balance, simply follow the steps below:

  • Go to and sign up. 
  • Go to ‘Other payment options’ and tap the du icon.
  • Enter your du mobile number and tap 'Continue'.
  • Download the STARZ Play app on your mobile.
  • Open the app.
  • Sign in using the email and password you used when you signed up on the website.
  • You’ll receive an SMS with a verification code.
  • Enter the verification code and tap ‘Confirm’.
  • Adjust your parental controls, and tap ‘Continue’.

All set! You’re ready to start enjoying the STARZ Play App.

  • Is the free trial really free?

    Yes, it is. After the 7 days trial period ends you'll pay a low monthly fee to continue enjoying limitless access. You can also cancel your subscription at anytime.

  • How much is a STARZ Play subscription?

    STARZ Play offers unlimited streaming of the latest Hollywood movies and great original series for a low monthly fee of just AED 30.

  • How is my account charged?

    Every new subscriber via pay with du receives a 7 days free trial period to STARZ Play. Although we ask you to supply your payment details, we won't charge you at all during your free 7 days trial period. At the end of the trial period we will charge a monthly fee to your selected payment option so we can continue to provide you with unlimited access to our service. Remember, you can cancel your subscription at any time with no penalties.

  • How do I watch STARZ Play?

    You can watch our world of immersive content on a wide number of devices.

    Computer (PC or Mac): Using your preferred browser simply visit and login. You can then play content directly in your browser page

    iOS (iPhone, iPad): Download the STARZ Play App from the App Store. Once installed just login and enjoy. 

    Android: Download the STARZ Play App from the Play Store. Once installed just login and enjoy.

  • What type of content does STARZ Play provide?

    We strive to stream premium Hollywood movies and original series, in some cases as little as 24 hours after airing in the United States. New content is added all the time so check back often to discover the latest titles.

  • How much content can I stream?

    As much as you like! STARZ Play provides unlimited content (with no data or speed cap) to subscribers.

  • Can I watch content on more than one device at a time?

    Yes you can. You can set up STARZ Play on up to five compatible devices, and can simultaneously watch different streaming content on up to two devices.

  • How do I change my password?

    Once you've logged in to your account, you can change your password in the SETTINGS section under PROFILES. If you can't remember your password, just click the "Forgot Your Password" link and follow the instructions. We'll then send you a link via your registered email address to reset your password.

  • How do I stop/start receiving emails from STARZ Play?

    To adjust your communication preferences please go to Settings>Profile.

  • How do I set the Parental Controls?

    During the sign up process, you'll be asked to set your initial Parental Control setting. Once your sign up is complete, you can change this setting at any time. Simply hover the mouse pointer over the Settings icon on the floating navigation bar and you can easily and quickly select your chosen setting.

  • How do I update my account?

    Your account information – including profile and payment details – can be updated within Settings.

  • How do I cancel my account?

    Go to Settings>Payments and select the Deactivate Subscription button. From that moment, no further charges will be billed to your account. Remember, your login details will remain valid. You're always welcome to reactivate your account, you’ll just need to enter valid payment details.
