How to set up

You can do this on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac, or on iTunes from your PC.

1. Go to the App Store

Scroll down to your Apple ID and tap on it.


2. Tap on 'View Apple ID'

Enter your Apple ID password.

3. Scan your fingerprint

If you have Touch ID activated.

4. Tap on payment information


5. Choose 'Mobile phone' as a payment type

You have the option to choose a different du mobile number.

You should receive an SMS and email confirming this payment method. When that’s done, you’re all set!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does it work?

Use your du mobile number to make a purchase or to subscribe to services and applications.
You will either have to opt in to the service and accept the terms and conditions page, or get an OTP (One-Time Password) for verification which needs to be entered to process the transaction, depending on the app or service.
The cost of the purchase will then be deducted from your prepaid balance, or billed to your postpaid plan’s monthly bill.

2. How is the payment done?

For prepaid users: the cost will be deducted from your Pay as You Go® balance.
For postpaid users: the cost will added to your postpaid monthly bill.

3. Where can I use it?

You can make purchases from the App Store, iTunes, subscribe to Apple Music, or buy iCloud storage as well.

4. What devices can I use?

You can do this on your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Mac or PC with iTunes. You will need an Apple ID to set this up.

5. Are there any limitations to purchases?

Prepaid customers cannot use bonus credit or data credit to make purchases.

6. Is it safe?

Yes. It’s purely mobile payment process that provides safe payments for customers. You will have a limit per transaction, as well as a monthly limit. It also uses OTP or One-Time Password which is immediately sent to the same mobile number to verify the purchase or subscription.

7. How do I get support?

Our Customer Care cannot provide any customer support for purchases from the App Store, iTunes and Apple Music. All customer complaints will be sent directly to Apple. To get to the Apple Customer Support click here
