Postpaid customers can now enjoy generous data allowance with our new data boosters. They can be activated anytime during the month once you run out of data.

Choose any of the Data Booster bundles below:

Whatever the date of the purchase is, Data Boosters will expire on the last day of your billing cycle.

How to get


The Data Booster will be activated immediately, and you will receive a confirmation SMS.

1. I’m currently on Smart Plan. Can I get a Data Booster?
Yes, as long as you are subscribed to our postpaid plans. Please note that the new Emirati Plan is not included. 

2. How do I get a Data Booster?
You can get a Data Booster from:

• du Data Portal (mydata.du.ae)
• Calling our Call Centre

The Data Booster will be activated immediately and you will receive a confirmation SMS.

3. What is the validity of the Data Boosters?
The validity of Data Boosters vary depending on your billing cycle and due date. Whatever is the date of the purchase, the Data Boosters will expire on the last day of your billing cycle.

4.  If I still have remaining Data Boosters balance, can it be moved to the next month?
No, your Data Booster will expire at the end of your billing cycle.

5. There are a few days left in my billing cycle. Do I still pay the full price for a Data Booster? Will I get the full amount of data?
Yes, you still have to pay the full amount and you will get the full amount of data, as well.

6. How do I check my data balance?
You can do either of the following:

a) SMS ‘Rewards’ to 1233
b) Visit the Mobile Data Portal at mydata.du.ae
c) Log in to My Account

How to activate Data Booster

  • Visit the du my account or du Data Portal
  • Call us at 135, choose option 5 or option 3, and follow the instructions
  • SMS 'Data Help' for free to 1355 and follow the steps

1. On which plans can I subscribe to these bundles?
You can subscribe to the data bundles with both the Emirati and Smart Plans.

2. Are these bundles available for national and international data use?
No, they are only for national use.

3. How can I check/track my data usage?
You can do one of the following:

• SMS ‘balance’ to 1355
• Log on to www.du.ae/myaccount

On postpaid lines, you’ll also receive three SMS notifications at:

• 75% of your data usage
• 85% of your data usage
• 100% of your data usage

4. I’m already subscribed to a device offer on a 12-month contract. Can I subscribe to these bundles? If yes, what will happen to my existing data bundle?
Yes, if you’re an existing smartphone customer you can subscribe to these bundles. The data bundles will be added to your already subscribed contract.

5. If I upgrade my data bundle before I finish my data, how much data will I get for the rest of my bill cycle?
You will lose the data from your old bundles, but will have the full amount of your new bundle.

6. Is proration applied on data bundle?
First month will be prorated, then every billing cycle will be automatically renewed.
